When LCD Soundsystem played at the Empty Bottle here in Chicago not that long ago, James Murphy lapsed into Henrietta Pussycat-speak when doing his mic check -- instead of boring old "check one two" he said, simply and eloquently, "meow meow meow." LCD Soundystem is coming to town later this week so I thought I'd take a break from the regular celeb whores and idiots to have a crack at the hardest-working hipster doofus in show business.
